Current-day Japan is facing the serious issue of population decline due to low birthrates and the concentration of the populace in only a few major metropolitan areas.
Tottori-kun, the local god of Tottori Prefecture, least populous in all of Japan, must face these problems and other social issues as he and the other gods of Japan's prefectures battle it out to become the new capital.
